Wholesale Landscape Trees


Everyone places a high value on evergreen trees for the all-year foliage and constant ornamental qualities. A plant that holds it?s foliage through all four seasons keeps our spirits up over dreary winter days while other plants rest and rebuild energy for the coming spring. Evergreen trees can provide a landscape with so much beauty and style when properly placed.
 

We have trees availble from 2' up to 10' for landscape or nursery stock and we can ship loads of trees to you or your jobsite with our direct ship trailers. Our trailers are capable of hauling up to 40 32" ball landscape trees.
 

We dig ball and burlap trees in the spring and fall. All trees are carefully handled to ensure the integrity of the tree. We use high quality burlap and metal baskets to maintain the shape and content of the soil and roots. Our trees are all grown in sandy loam soils.
 

Delivery service is available throughout the state of Michigan and common carrier shipping is available nationwide. At Watson's we specialize in job site deliveries. Your plant material can be delivered right to the job site while your crews are prepping your landscape job. This also saves on double handling the plant material and is a real time saver.

The Fraser Fir, Abies Fraseri, is a classy, tall, fir tree that has short dark-green needles with silver undersides. It is among the most classy of conifers. A great ornamental and Christmas tree because of its density and compactness. Fraser Firs will grow in most locations but must have good drainage.

Its color can range from blue to green which are color variations are genetic traits of the tree. The Blue Spruce is widely planted througout the US because it is tolerant to a variety of site conditions. It has good drought, wind, and cold tolerance. The Blue Spruce finds uses such as wind breaks and as an ornamental in landscape designs.

The Black Hills Spruce, Picea Glauca Var. densata, is noted for its dark green foliage and conical form. Black Hills Spruce trees are very dense and have a deep dark green color. It is a truly cold adapted tree and is very resistant to winter injury. It prefers rich moist soil in full sun, and also thrives in dry, well-drained sites.

The Norway Spruce is the most widespread, fastest growing, largest and most disease resistant spruce in the northern hemisphere. It is used extensively for windbreaks through out Canada and the United States. It can tolerate much winds and still grow well. Small-diameter branches sweep horizontally from the straight trunk which can grow to four feet thick. Branchlets droop from the branches toward the ground in a graceful, weeping fashion forming a delicate pyramid.

This evergreen conifer tree is a truly magnificent tree attaining a height of 80 feet at maturity with a diameter of two to three feet. It carries long, soft bluish green needles with large brown cones. Eastern White Pine trees are widely used as a screen or windbreak. It grows rapidly for a pine tree and is pyramidal shaped when young, becoming umbrella-shaped with age.

The Austrian Pine (Pinus nigra) is an extremely tolerant pine of adverse soil conditions and air pollution. This stately tree can be seen in parks, along streets, in residential landscapes, and as farm windbreaks throughout much of the United States. Landscapers use the dark beauty of these trees for backdrops, but it is also an excellent specimen tree because of its leaf pattern.
